What I really hate about this one is that Jones is clearly at fault in the accident – the other driver was already reversing when Jones ploughed into him. And as has been pointed out elsewhere, Vinny Jones is best known for his role in Lock, Stock… – is that really the image RAC wishes to portray?

Don’t worry mate, we’re allowed to disagree on some things you know

I think you’re right that VJ is sending himself up; he’s not as stupid as he likes to come across (he mad it to Hollywood after all).

It’s more the threatening, “Don’t worry with RAC insurance, if you have an accident, you don’t need to kill the other driver” tone of the advert that I don’t like. Why’s everyone so angry?

Oh dear! Two disagreements in one month – Thank god we’re nearly at the end of this one; I’d hate to make it three.

I like this ad. I always like the ones where the star of the advert sends themselves up so well done Vinnie!

On another subject. Is there a way that you can start having a go at the “adverts” that the BBC show? I don’t know the official name for them, “promos” I suppose.

Why do they advertise the programme that you are about to watch in thirty seconds time? And have you seen the latest one for CBBC? It look as as if the poor lad is sitting in front of the telly 24/7 instead of going outside and helping his mum and dad bail out the front lawn as any healthy young kid should be doing.

PS. It’s not too late to vote for the Picture ad. It really is awful.
