Probably my biggest personal ad hate is for face gunk and the phony ingredients they come up with BOSWELLOX for example.

The Nivea advert is just another on the bandwagon, proving that if it’s advertised on telly, women will rub anything on their faces (snigger). KP

I posted a question on their blog commenting on their strange attitude towards food. Seems that eating oxygen-rich food is good for you. I’m no doctor but I’m pretty sure that eating oxygen-rich food just makes you fart or belch. They don’t mention that in their adverts though – shame.

hmm, the air around us is made up of 20% oxygen. So, by putting this cream on, your skin is getting *less* oxygen than it normally does, right???

To be honest Mike, I haven’t tried oxygen before.

I have however, wet my face with water then rubbed and Alka-Seltzer into it.

Have you tried oxygen on your face before? I haven’t either but I do know that Vanish Oxy gets rid of baby poo stains so it just might have some benefits. Don’t knock it till you try as it my Gran used to say.

I also think that the blog is a great idea. The Blog Roll for example links to sites that women might like and there on the front page of the site is a advert for Nivea – all clever stuff just could have been a bit more subtle.
