Nintendo Wii – JLS Wii Party
14 November 2010 by SilkyYou know what it’s like: you’re a young guy, home alone, with just a Nintendo Wii and your 3 band mates for company. And with a little time, and presumably a lot of lube, on your hands it’s only natural that you’d hold a Wanking Olympics.
We’d all do the same.
But even so, it’s a little worrying to see just how many of JLS’s Nintendo Wii Party’s involve them simulating furious masturbation.

Oh God, I fucking DETEST these ads so much! I hate JLS and I hate X Factor. Also, most of the minigames I’ve seen in those ads consist of the boys shaking Wiimotes up & down. WTF Nintendo? You call these GAMES?!

nintendo wii’s are a good console i just think that bands like jls prmoting this is pointless they will be gone after a year and all be back on there respective council estates

Sadly, there are games which require a little more skill than this to be played. Why they’re not advertised, I’m not sure.
Perhaps these games are so easy, even one hit wonder bands like JLS can play them.
I guess anything that can’t be explained in under 15 seconds is percieved as “difficult” and so the marketing bosses gloss over them. And so, we end up with adverts like this one, and the one with Jedward being even more annoying than usual.
The Terry Wogan one isn’t as bad though. He takes the time to tell you what the DSi program is, what it does, and how to use it – all without constantly grinning into the camera. Some may disagree with me on that point, but most of the recent Nintendo adverts are really terrible.

I might get murdered for this, but I quite like these ad’s. Although they are clearly staged and just about all boy bands CANNOT ACT, it does have an infectiious way of showing what fun you can have with a wii
