I do love the manner in which you have framed this issue plus it does supply me personally some fodder for thought. On the other hand, because of just what I have observed, I simply hope when the actual opinions pile on that folks remain on point and not embark on a tirade involving some other news of the day. Still, thank you for this excellent piece and though I can not really concur with this in totality, I value the standpoint.

What’s the point of switching the TV off when most of the other adverts are fine..we are here to watch TV programmes not adverts but Moon Pig just ticks me off, It should be the TV broadcaster to remove Moonpig not us to switch the TV off.

Yes, just FUCK OFF Moonpig! I know it’s nearly Father’s Day but there is NO NEED to shove your shit advert in my face every fucking ad break! And how the fuck is putting “Dad” on the card personalising it?!
Also, has anyone seen FunkyPigeon.com? “WHAT THE FUCK?!” was my reaction when I first saw this on TV! Shite Moonpig rip off!
Hallmark’s stupid personalised card advert can fuck off too! I don’t want to waste £3 on a piece of cardboard good for only one day. If I wanted a card I’d just go to Clinton Cards or even the fucking Post Office!

Why does an advert anger you so much? it’s just an advert. if it really summons up such strong emotions for you (in a rather dramatic overreaction, one must say) then turn it over when it comes on or mute it! Simple as! Surely there’s better things to do with your time…
