Darren, spoken like a man there. And, as you can tell, this is mainly for women.

Now, men get the shits, true, but this ad was aimed primarily at women who get diarrhoea around the time of their period. And there are a lot of them. And they don’t treat that diarrhoea. And diarrhoea is really bad for you: it kills over 2 million people a year. Not THAT funny. And the people that suffer very badly from it certainly don’t find it funny.

Tell you what the ad DID do though, sold shitloads of imodium
