Ah, Churchill! What could be more British?

Maybe a British Bulldog? “Oh yes”.

How about some bawdy ‘carry on’ style humour. Hmm, that’ll do it.

Churchill’s obviously had a bit of a hard time when the voice for their oh-so-British Bulldog was done for drink driving. “Oh no”. But seeing as everyone in the country can do the voice they managed to keep their cheeky little know-it-all dog going. And how they want Churchill the dog to be the new Fred or Douglas.

With the latest “Challenge Churchill” ad they’ve taken things too far. Churchill seem to think that we the viewing public don’t actually realise that Churchill the dog is in fact a puppet (Sorry to break it to you, folks).

So when the bloke in the ad asks:

“Will you put us up in a hotel?” and Churchill replies “Oh yes” the middle-age, blonde-haired, housewife pukka ups and throws Churchill a suggestive look what exactly are Churchill’s trying to say?

“Our car insurance is so good, you’ll want to shag our puppet dog!”

“Steady on, Madame!”

Now, I’ve seen some videos on the Web that lead me to believe there is a market for inter-species lovin’, but with a puppet dog? Churchill’s you are some twisted car insurers!
