Hate them. ‘Adam’ has a face for radio. Every time I see them on TV I change channel. And then remind myself never to switch back to BT, just in case any of my money ever went towards paying the wages of these two grey-faced, dull, boring drabs.

I have not seen any adverts from BT for a while now thank god, the last advert I remember seeing was the infuriating “its 6′oclock and half the worlds online” I really detest any advert for BT, especially with Adam in it.

Yeah, he was in My Family (BBC 1), Unfortunately doing these adverts has ruined his job prospects; he was in something the other week (I think it was a drama) and I had to switch it off after 10 mins because I couldn’t stand him any more, and I actually used to quite like My Family, now however I have to switch it off when he comes on.

What’s with the new advert? the one where his mom never rings him on the landline or something? I really don’t get that, in fact I think BT are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for marketing ideas now. – and I wish he would get a shave!

It’s gone on too long, Leon, the best one was the one where Jane sees a naked and presumably very hard Adam and ends her phone call with ” something has come up.” However, after that they became more and more insufferable and smug and the one about I want a bigger house just pissed me off. She might as well have added, ” oh I’ve just found out the next door neighbours read The Sun and go to Benidorm for their holidays” in a Margot Leadbitter voice.

Uhhh… I’ve been on the Internet at 6PM several times and my connection is not that fucking slow.

Also, the latest BT Vision ad really confuses me. Why did they call “Fast & Furious” a FAMILY favourite?! Since when has that been family? Last time I looked that film was rated 12A so how the fuck can they classify that as a FAMILY FILM?!

This couple are so smug and middle class they make you want to hit them, esp the newest advert where Jane tells Adam the new house isn’t good enough for her. Like, hello, there’s 3 million unemployed, people are having their houses repossesed, and house prices are still way too high in the South for most new buyers, but no I want a bigger house as the neighbourhood isn’t good enough for me. However, they both look like the sort of smug wankers you get in places like Berkshire who boast about earning 80k a year in IT consultancy, drive a company Honda Accord and probably listen to James Blunt CDs.

I liked the earlier ones, esp where Jane is on the phone to her friend and Adam arrives naked in the bedroom and presumably very hard and she tells her friend, ” I’ll have to go, something has come up.” However, now it has become too much like a sickly Dido record about how much they love each other and now they’re getting married. Hopefully the marriage will round off the series as it is becoming rather sickly and tired, but was good in the early days.
I don’t think OFCOM would let my alternative ending be aired, but I would end the series with a real sting in the tail: Jane tells Adam she has become a lesbian and the marriage is off.

Correct me if im wrong but in there new advert, Adam goes into a house with an estate agent and they attempt to browse the internet but its apparently 6′oclock and “half the world is online” but as far as i am aware BT don’t provide a mobile broadband service so how are they exacly online? isent this falce advertising?

The next instalment of the radio ad has Jane arranging a party for Adam who will want one even though he has said he doesn’t want any fuss (“which means he does”…)

Jane and girlfriend on phone have a good old bitch about Tracey who Adam “doesn’t like” but apparently did when he was going out with her….

I hope we are going to find that Adam is still seeing Tracey on the quiet, Jane is going to find out and will kick him into the middle of next week…
