Bugger, I’m not ‘with it’ enough to have a clue what you’re both talking about. I’m truly past it.

Oddly, I quite like this advert, but I wouldn’t buy the product.

Advertising companies must be running out of ideas, this is at least the third shameless rip-off this year.

I’m speechless, I really am, Trish Sie and OK Go could sue for that one surely. It’s sugar puffs all over again. Isn’t there an ounce of creativity in ad land any more?
And for the oldies - here’s the original…and best

It’s Saturday night and I’m in the mood for arguing.
I’ve now researched this video and I can honestly say that the Berocca version is far superior to OK Go’s ess one.
Discuss.

I loved the advert but it’s the music that makes it. I bought that record when it was first released but can’t for the life of me remember what I did with it ;o(
Remind me, what product are they advertising???????

Hey Sonya,
According to TV Ad Music (and, more importantly, Mike Empuria) it’s “Blancmange - Living On The Ceiling”.
As for the product, I think it’s some kind of amphetamines.

Plaugurism (sp?) is frowned upon at my Uni. Seems to be rewarded in the advertising world. Ok Go, Sue, Sue Nowwww

Oddly I quite like this - even the strapline. Maybe it’s the memories of the lead singer’s barnet that are doing it…

The orignal video is better if you watch it with the sound off, or even with Living On The Ceiling - then it becomes much, MUCH better than this rip off!

Perhaps the next advert in this series should an anti-drug campaign. “You but on a BAD day, a really very very BAD day indeed”

Great piece of music, from an era when music was music. Good advert showing varying age groups combining. Then we have the “TOSSERS” slagging it of with their foul language. Suppose it takes all sorts.
