but this ad series is on its own planet anyway. As my cricketing brother points out, who knows who Alan Lamb is any more? Or Brian Johnstone (sadly) unless that really is Henry Blofeld doing the voiceover….?

Thinking of the homophobia question, this ‘guys in the kitchen’ scenario reminds of any ad you can think of where two men are playing house together, and you’re wondering Wow! are they more than *gulp* just flatmates when *phew* right at the end one of their girlfriends comes in. Or does the ‘cocktail barmen’ Hellman’s mayonnaise ad take this to the wire and finish without a big heterosexual reveal? Now there’s a smug pair of cocks….;)
